For the reader in all of us, Mr. Perrone makes it easy to find great books.

As you enter the Library you may have noticed the various display tables of the latest books in the Harriton Library collection. The current displays include the New Fiction table, the New Books table, and the latest addition, the Faculty Book Picks table.

Now Mr. Perrone wants to expand even more into a Ram Book Picks display. Books selected by you, the students, will populate this new display.

“After the interest sparked by the Faculty Book Picks display, I thought that it would            be great to have students make recommendations to each other. The RAM Book Picks display in the Library will enable students to share their favorites with their classmates,” Mr. Perrone commented.

Here is how it will work: Students will vote for their favorite books. Mr. Perrone will display books from that vote as a “student favorite,” with either the student name or as an anonymous selection, depending on the voter’s wishes.

“We have many students who are great readers, they may check out and read several books per week. I hope that the RAM Book Picks display will allow these readers to share not only their favorite books with their classmates but also maybe share their love of reading.” Mr. Perrone added.
