Season Recap: Strong Finish for Swimming

Harriton swimming has come off the best season they have had in years. This season, the boys’ team posted a record of 4-5 in the Central League, while the girls team went 2-7. Both teams got their first Central League wins ever. Coach Dennis Hagan led for the boys’ team, and Coach Mike Stoloski for the girls’. (Both coaches returned from last year.)

The Rams were revitalized by their strong freshman class and by the losses the other teams took when they graduated their seniors. The girls’ team set a team record for a relay and the boys are sending competitors to the District Championship in the 100-yard backstroke (Alec Maloney), the 50-yard freestyle (Nick Anstadt), and the 100-yard butterfly (Christopher Snyder).

Harriton swimmers have changed the culture of the team and look forward to building on the 2015-16 season’s success in future years.
