Duncan Miller is easily one of the most friendly faces here at Harriton. This sophomore can put a smile on anyone’s face, even when he is on a difficult hunt for a rare meme or dealing with a hard math problem. He participates in clubs like Speech and BuildOn, and is actually raising money to go on the trek this year! The Harriton Banner sat down with Duncan to get his outlook on the Harriton community and learn more about him as a person.

HB: How do you contribute to the Harriton community?

DM: I contribute to the Harriton community by being a part of clubs like Speech and BuildOn. I am doing the trek this year.

HB: You are doing the trek? How is your fundraiser going so far?

DM: Yes I am! I am doing alright but another donation can always help out. So folks… go donate to me!

HB: Out of those clubs, which do you enjoy doing most?

DM: I am a huge fan of Speech club! It’s pretty fun since I’m with friends.

HB: Who is your favorite teacher?

DM: My favorite teacher would probably be Ms. Witman, because she is really chill and easygoing.

HB: What is your favorite thing to do outside of school?

DM: Outside of school, I like to play guitar and hang out with my friends.

HB: Who is your favorite musical artist?

DM: Chance the Rapper. I know all his songs and can listen to him for days…weeks…months…years.

HB: What is one thing that is different from last year, now that you are a sophomore?

DM: The workload is easier.

HB: What is your all time favorite show?

DM: I really like How I Met Your Mother. That was the best show created of all time.

HB: If you could travel to anywhere in the world where would you go?

DM: If I could travel anywhere, I would travel to Greece because I really like their mythology.

HB: Do you have any unique hobbies?

DM: Memes. I search and collect them. Don’t laugh; it is a serious matter.

HB: So what is your all time favorite meme?

DM: “The Bee Movie” ones.

HB: If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

DM: Shape Shifting. That would be sick.

HB: What is one thing that always has the ability to cheer you up?

DM: A good old meme.
