Sophia Abdulmalik, Staff Writer
Sophia is an IB senior looking forward to her second year with the Banner, and fourth year overall involved with a school paper. Within Harriton, she is involved as an officer and cofounder of the Black Student Union, an officer of SAGE and Civic Engagement clubs, and as a member of National Honor Society, Principal’s Advisory Board, and the Corinthian Literary Magazine. Outside of school, Sophia’s passions for writing and politics continue, but she can also be found reading, making art, working at a local garden, and listening to jazz, alternative hip hop, and classical music.
