After a shocking mid-season finale — ending with Jenna kissing Collin — the second half of Awkward Season Three finally premiered after a short hiatus. Jenna knew she had to stop her secret affair with Collin, but how?

Jenna finally gathered the courage to go up to Collin and end things, but it didn’t turn out exactly how she planned. She ended up making out with Collin again.

In this episode, Jenna’s birthday is near, and everyone wants to party. Since she’s been cheating on Matty, she’s not up for celebrating. Matty comes up with an amazing gift to get her, and asks Collin for his help. Collin tells Jenna about the gift, and she starts to feel even worse. She tries to call it off with Collin, but they end up making out again! During this whole episode, her mom tries to plan a surprise party for her, which Jenna makes clear she doesn’t want.

On the day of her birthday, Jenna gets home and starts making out with Collin in the doorway. Once she pushes the front door open, still making out with Collin, everyone comes out of her living room and screams, “Surprise!” Matty and the rest of her friends and family stand there shocked.
