The one question that has been haunting us all: Will Jane and Lisbon ever end up together?

Well, as season six comes to a close our wishes finally come true. This jaw-dropping season finale starts with Patrick Jane denying the fact that Lisbon is moving to Washington D.C. with her boyfriend to start a new life and a new desk job. For the whole episode Jane seems distracted and refuses to believe that Lisbon would ever leave him. But when Jane finally realizes that he lost his chance to find his happily ever after with her, he tries everything possible to win Lisbon over.

Jane follows Lisbon to the airport, cuts through security, and illegally hops a fence to get on her plane. He rushes straight to her seat, and declares to the entire plane that he loves her. She unfortunately tells him he is too late, but he tells her that he just wanted to finally get it out. As TSA takes him off the plane, he declares his admiration for Lisbon by exclaiming to the whole flight, “I love that girl in 12B!”

The episode ends with Lisbon coming to Jane’s rescue in TSA custody. She asks him if what he said was really true, and then they finally kiss. This ending could not have turned out better. After all the twists and turns, these two characters finally show their true feelings towards one another.

After six long seasons, Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon finally get together — finally!
