Walk to Support Hodgkin’s Research: Sunday, April 19th
Do you want to enjoy the springtime weather with friends and family, while supporting a great cause?
Come to the 7th Annual Adam Spector Walk to Win on Sunday, April 19th, 2015 at 10 AM! The event will take place at Harriton High School and benefit the Adam R. Spector Foundation for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Research. Brian Taffe, 6abc news anchor, will be the emcee for the event. At the walk you will have the opportunity to enter raffles, as well as participate in a pre-walk warm-up, led by a yoga instructor!
Adam Spector, graduate and valedictorian of Harriton’s class of 1999, passed away from Hodgkin’s lymphoma in April 2007 at the age of 25. He requested that his parents help raise money for Hodgkin’s research.
In honor of Adam’s request the Adam R. Spector Foundation was established to provide hope for those diagnosed with Hodgkin’s; the funds collected by the Foundation are donated to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
