How would you describe the experience of being part of Dr. Harriton?
I’ve had an incredible experience being a part of Dr Harriton this year. I’m taking easier classes than last year, so Dr Harriton has been a way for me to challenge myself and put something extra on my plate.
What would you say your favorite memory has been so far?
My favorite memory was eating 5 dollar meal deals with my friends Henry and Russell before practice at the Church.
Why did you want to be part of Dr. Harriton?
I knew that I wanted to be in Dr Harriton since watching the show my Freshman year. I instantly knew that I had something to bring and wanted to showcase myself in front of the school.
What would you say is your all time favorite Dr. Harriton act?
Palmer’s water act from last year.
If someone who is thinking of doing Dr. Harriton next year is reading this article, what advice would you give to them?
Just Do It. You’d rather spend three months working on something awesome with your friends than the rest of your life thinking “what if?”
What do you think will make this year’s Dr. Harriton unique?
I think that this year’s technical team has been working really hard and will make the show a visual spectacle.
Could you share any funny rehearsal stories?
When someone dropped a wrench from the catwalk onto the stage.
What have you learned from the experience so far?
Something I’ve learned so far is just how much it takes to remember choreography. I have newfound respect for Broadway and professional dancers.
What is one past Dr. Harriton performance that you will always remember?
Sam Groover’s as it was the first winner I’d ever seen.
