How would you describe the experience of competing in Dr. Harriton?
Being part of Dr. Harriton has been such a fun and rewarding experience, but it’s also been a bit stressful. Balancing practices/rehearsals for both the group dances and my individual act has definitely required a lot of time and patience.
What would you say your favorite memory has been so far?
The Chipotle fundraiser was definitely my favorite memory! It was nice to see so many people go to chipotle after practice to raise money.
Why did you want to be part of Dr. Harriton?
I wanted to get more involved in Harriton activities and meet new people. Dr. Harriton felt like the perfect way to do both while also supporting a great cause.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of competing in Dr. Harriton?
Go for it! It’s such a unique and fun experience, and you’ll make amazing memories along the way. Just be prepared to put in the time and effort—rehearsals can be a lot, but they’re 100% worth it.
What do you think will make this year’s Dr. Harriton unique?
This year, our group’s chemistry and creativity will make the show entertaining and help it stand out from previous years. Each contestant has such a different personality and talent, which makes the performances diverse and exciting.
Could you share any funny rehearsal stories?
The funniest thing I can think of is during the filming of the intro video—everyone kept cracking up whenever someone messed up their dialogue lines. But sometimes people would purposely mess up their lines to sound like they’re saying something else.
What is one past Dr. Harriton performance that you will always remember?
I will always remember when the guy from last year did a flip over Ms. Diane.
What have you learned from the experience so far?
Over the past 3-4 months, I’ve learned a lot about time management and organizational skills. Juggling school, rehearsals, and other commitments has been challenging, but it’s taught me how to prioritize and stay on top of everything.
