Ram of the Week: Jon Diamond-Reivitch!
Jon Diamond-Reivitch is the youngest of the three D-R brothers who attend Harriton. He is full of that iconic D-R charm, characterized by to-the-point-jokes that you can never be sure you really get, and a friendly nature. His answers to our questions are interesting and entertaining, leaving us wanting to know more about Jon.
HB: What do you do for the Harriton community?
JDR: I do a lot for the Harriton community. I am a part of student council and also update our school Wikipedia page every day.
HB: What clubs/extracurriculars do you do?
JDR: I am in the Student Council, I am the vice president of the World Language Club, I’m in the Witness Inspire Act club, and I’m also trying to start a new club where we drink club sodas and eat club sandwiches in a club while we are golfing, its called the Club Club Club and Club Club.
JDR: One weird fact about me is that I didn’t speak my first words until the beginning of this interview
HB: Favorite teacher at this school?
JDR: My favorite teacher at this school is probably Mr. Zabalou. What I haven’t learned in French, I’ve learned in very specific life lessons.
HB: Are you a gym try-hard?
JDR: I wouldn’t really say I’m a gym try hard, although I have rigged four tchoukball games this year.
HB: If you were president of the school for a day what changes would you make?
JDR: If I were president of the school for a day I would get free ram back. I wasn’t at Harriton when it was a thing but I hear people liked it.
HB: If you could freaky Friday with one other person who would it be and why?
JDR: If I could freaky Friday with anyone at the school I would probably switch places with Aaron D-R, I would just really want to see what his home life is like.
HB: What are your favorite hobbies?
JDR: Here is a list of my favorite hobbies:
– watching TV
– playing sports
– listening to music
– milk
– eggs
– bread
HB: Who is your role model?
JDR: I’d have to say the biggest role model in my life has been William Shakespeare. One of my favorite quotes from him has to be “You’re not my dad.”
