The editors are continuing their upward trajectory after a few troubling weeks that left many concerned about the validity of these so-called “experts”.  Clucko the Chicken, everyone’s favorite non-human participant, has returned to .500, passing Sports editor Will Zike in doing so.  Sports Editor Brandon Lapensohn continues to extend his lead over the field, as he is now 8 games ahead of Student Council President Dhruv Pillai, who remains behind.  Having finished nearly one third of the season at this point, everyone remains within striking distance, as strong performances down the stretch has often led to very close finishes.

Entering his fourth year on the Banner staff, Brandon is very excited to be one of two Executive Editors at the Banner this year. Throughout his tenure with Harriton’s newspaper, he has written for the sports, news, and opinion sections. While writing and editing for the Banner is a huge part of Brandon’s extra-curricular agenda, he is also the Treasurer of the National Honor Society and participates in Harriton Student Council, Stock Club, and the Freshman Mentor Program. He is also a huge sports fan, as almost all of us are aware, and is also passionate about reading and helping others. Brandon is looking forward to continuing the legacy of past Executive Editors and maintaining the extraordinarily high standards that the Banner holds, while also hoping that everyone at Harriton reads our student-run paper!
Holden McGInnis, Editor-in-Chief
Holden McGinnis, Editor-in-Chief (Features), is a senior entering his third and final year with the Harriton Banner. After spending last year as the Science and Technology Editor, he is excited to serve as Editor-in-Chief of Features.  When he's not working on the newspaper, he enjoys participating in a variety of school activities including Science Olympiad and Jazz Band.
