And They’re Off
Fall Sports Season Begins at Harriton
Harriton fall sports teams are off and running. Here is a quick breakdown of the action:
Field hockey started off strong with an overtime win against Delaware County Christian School and a shutout victory over Springfield-Delco.
Football lost a close central league opener against Radnor, but do not fear because the players are working hard to make the next game a win.
Golf is undefeated, winning against Haverford High School, Lower Moreland, and Ridley.
Boys’ soccer scored big-time in its early matches, capturing victories against Downingtown East, Springfield, and Academy Parks.
Girls’ soccer kicked the opponents off the field in wins against Chichester, Interboro, and Springfield, making them 3-0 for the season.
Volleyball fought some tough battles in early games, losing to Springfield High School, but these athletes will be spiking down the opponents in no time.
The boys’ and girls’ cross country teams had an excellent start to the season. Runners from both teams acquired top positions in races and beat LM.
Girls’ tennis served up winners in its first central league matches against Springfield and Penncrest, not dropping a match in either case.
Great job to all the student-athletes who are making this season one to look forward to! Go rams!
