Boys Basketball Loses Tough to Radnor
On Friday the Harriton Rams faced off against the Radnor Raiders. In their first meeting, earlier this season, Harriton was able to sneak away with a win after a close finish. That victory did not sit well among the Radnor fans, who were talking a big game coming into this rematch. The stadium was packed, and the Rams were ready for a tough battle. The Rams scored first after a steal from Spencer Dickler. Unfortunately, the Raiders were able to jump out to a quick lead, making the game 10-4. The Radnor fan section stayed quiet until their tenth point, when they let out a deafening cheer. The Rams played hard through the first half, including two momentum-shifting blocks by Sam Schlichting and a great effort off the bench by Jordan Wright. The Rams went into halftime only down a few, but the Radnor full-court press proved to be too much for the Rams to handle. Harriton lost a tough battle to Radnor after a highly-contested game.
