On October 1st, the Harriton Ultimate Frisbee team won its first game of the season against a very good St. Joe’s Prep team by a score of 15-7.  Scorers included  Nick Johnson, Sam Wheeler, Eli Silverman, and Adam Judkowski. Daniel Cohn receives the MVP award after throwing for 8 points; however, Mitch Barnett was not far behind with 5.

For those who don’t know the game, Dan gives a quick overview. “7 people on the field. 2-3 handlers, which control the disc, sort of like quarterbacks. They’re usually better at throwing and are more knowledgeable of the game and how it works.

Main handlers for us are Mitch, Jakob Swartley, and Aaron Diamond-Reivich. The other 4-5 [players] are cutters, who try and juke and outrun their defenders to catch the disc, sort of like wide receivers.

They are usually fast and good at catching. Main handlers for us are Nick, Sam, and Eli Silverman. The Rams face off against rival Lower Merion on Monday. Come Support, as Rams look to start a winning streak!
