Harriton Baseball Season Preview, Spring 2015
Last year, as many of you may remember, the Harriton Rams baseball team made it to the Class AAA state championship, but lost to a very talented Pope John Paul team.
Led by returning senior letterman Jesse Bregman, Tristan Kevitch (Bloomsburg University baseball commit), and Daniel Schupper (Brandeis University baseball commit), the 2015 Rams Baseball team are poised to show that last year’s state final berth was not a fluke.
This year, the team will rely heavily on Junior Varsity players from last year who made the jump to the big leagues. Outfielder Don Diloreto as well as infielder Lorenzo Solon help bolster a Rams squad hindered by graduation. Reserve Anthony Calligaro provides his patented high risk, high reward pinch running, an underrated aspect to any baseball team. All in all, look for a big year from Harriton baseball and do not expect these boys to use last years run as an excuse to come out flat this year.
