Boys Tennis Recap: March
While Spring Sports only started a month ago, the Rams’ Tennis team has been making the most of their matches thus far. Harriton has played a mix of opponents, going against easier matchups like Penncrest and Marple Newtown, and then sizing up Unionville and Conestoga. Here’s how the month of March went for the Rams:
Harriton started the season in a scrimmage against West Chester Bayard Rustin, taking the match 5-2. The Rams would go on to win their next two matches in a 7-0 sweep of both Penncrest and Marple Newtown. The schedule got tougher when Harriton suffered their first loss against Unionville, 5-2. Then, the Rams faced arguably the best team in the Central League, Conestoga, and got swept 7-0.
However, the Rams are getting back on track. Doubles communication is improving, while a solid group of singles players continues to lead the way. Come cheer the Rams on to victory this week as they look to improve upon their standing of six in the Central League. They play at home Tuesday against Ridley, Thursday against Radnor, and this Friday against the Haverford School!
