Boys’ Tennis Team Plays First Scrimmage Versus Unionville March 16
On Wednesday, March 16, Harriton boys’ tennis traveled to West Chester, PA, to face off against Unionville in their first match of the year. While the match will only count as a scrimmage, the atmosphere was competitive, and the players fought hard. Ultimately, the Rams came away with a 5-2 loss.
The Rams were missing a couple of doubles players, yet the matches were still closely contested. The wins came from Etan Ginsberg at third singles and the partnership of Samarth Gowda and Andrew Kofsky at second doubles.
The team will look to improve upon their doubles game as a whole and set the definitive lineup in preparation for Penncrest on March 29. Be sure to come out and show support for your Rams at the Harriton courts this Tuesday!
