Girls’ JV and Varsity Softball Played Vs. Penncrest March 29
Girls’ varsity and junior varsity softball both played their first games of the season on March 29 against Penncrest. Playing on the Harriton home fields, varsity lost 5-0. Maddie Rubin had a great catch out in left field, Anna Walsh hit a double out into right field, and Sonia Groeneveld played a solid game of pitching and getting on base.
As for JV, the score was 21-31, Penncrest. Sholeh Masoudnia smacked a ball out into center field, getting two girls home, and also pitched a little. Lena Seibert’s amazing pitching throughout the game marked her as a key player as well.
The girls played Plymouth Whitemarsh today and will face Strath Haven on Thursday (both away games).
