Promo: Harriton Theatre Company’s Godspell

The Harriton Theatre Company is proud to present this year’s musical Godspell.  With Marcel Werder as Jesus and Jon Duska as Judas, the musical has a very talented cast, as well as a number of fun dances, songs, and scenes interpreted in their own way. HTC’s take on Godspell is futuristic — so, if you have watched this popular musical before, expect it to be much different with the Harriton cast (and possibly even better)!

The show is about the life of Jesus, who is portrayed as an ordinary man with a message to live a happier, kinder, and better life. He calls on everyone to look away from their phones and trifles in order to become nicer people.

Everybody has been working diligently on this musical for the past few weeks, so come out and support the Harriton community!

The core cast also includes Olivia Prendergast, Joshua Gold, Max Sokoll, Shana Herman, Gianna Robertson, Dani Ochroch, Emily Goldenberg, and Nolan Gardener. The student director is Olivia Sun, and Ms. Harper is the choreographer.

Mr. Joseph is the music director teaching the songs “Day by Day,” “Bless the Lord,” and “Beautiful City” (among many others).

The musical will be performed on Thursday, April 3rd and Friday, April 4th at 7pm, as well as Saturday, April 5th at both 2pm and 7pm. The premiering night’s tickets are on sale for $5 for students and $10 for adults, so get your tickets fast and do not miss it, because you will not be disappointed!
