LMSD Girls Leadership Conference, Registration Open
Are you a girl who attends Harriton or Lower Merion High School? Do you want to celebrate girls leadership and empowerment?
Harriton High School and Lower Merion High School have teamed up to host the 2nd Annual LMSD Girls Leadership Conference. At the conference, girls will build confidence and leadership skills by participating in workshops led by LMSD alumnae, college mentors, and female professionals from the community. Eight Harriton students have worked alongside Lower Merion students, college mentors, and Conference Coordinator, Paula Singer, to make this event possible.
“GLC is an amazing event. I participated in the conference last year and it was a truly eye-opening experience. I met intelligent, brave girls from LM and Harriton, girls who face the same obstacles as me, girls who are overcoming these obstacles and becoming leaders,” said Julia Udicious, Harriton senior and GLC Co-Chair. “The conference is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage in discussions about gender equality and learn leadership skills to use in high school and beyond.”
