Meet Mr. Harriton Contestants, Coby and Griffin!
Coby Levit
Coby is yet another cheerful, optimistic competitor. He is well spoken and clearly has what it takes to fight for the legendary Mr Harriton crown. But is it enough? Come and see on Friday!
HB: What’s a day in your life like?
CL: Normally I wake up, break a finger, eat breakfast, slip and fall on my way to the car, I’ll break a few bones throughout the school day, and then I have rehearsal for one of my many shows. After that, I’ll go home, do homework, and break one last nine before bed.
HB: Why did you try out for Mr Harriton?
CL: Redemption. My brother Zander was in Mr. Harriton but didn’t win because his talent was a little too “scandalous” for the audience. Apparently stripping to Justin Timberlake’s “Sexyback” isn’t appropriate. I’m here to restore greatness to the Levit name.
HB: Who’s your biggest competition?
CL: That’s actually a fantastic question. We have so many talented contestants this year. Tristan has some of the prettiest lips I have ever seen, Jansen is built like a tank. Ben Seltzer is just an all around great performer. I’d have to say everyone poses a unique threat to me, but honestly, I’m fine with coming in ninth place, just as long as Jake is in tenth.
HB: What’s the best thing about Mr Harriton?
CL: Getting to know everyone! It’s a really awesome group of guys and I feel lucky to have been able to compete alongside such incredible people.
HB: Why are you the next Mr Harriton?
CL: Well, simply put, I’m a man, there’s the “Mr.” and I go to Harriton, there’s the “Harriton.” I like my chances. If you look back to the past four winners of the competition, all of the winners had facial hair. I, too, have facial hair. I’ll let you fill in the blanks.
Griffin Kivitz
Griffin is the complete package for a Mr Harriton boy. He is charming, talented, and humorous. If his dancing is not enough to win it for him, maybe his personality will be.
HB: What’s a day in your life like?
GK: Pretty average: wake up, brush my teeth, come to school, shower, wonder how I came to school before showering. Recently the work days have been pretty long because rehearsals have been going late, but hey, we’ve got a deadline to meet, right?
HB: Why did you try out for Mr. Harriton?
GK: I tried out for Mr. Harriton because it was something that has amazed me since my freshman year. Almost a thousand people come out to be entertained and laugh with their peers at their peers. I just wanted to be a part of a production like Mr. Harriton.
HB: Who’s your biggest competition?
GK: My biggest competition is definitely Josh Foltz. Who knows what kind of secrets are hidden in his hair?
HB: What’s the best thing about Mr Harriton?
GK: The best thing about Mr. Harriton is the newly acquired dance skills. Going off to college next year, it’s very important that I have a bank of moves to break out on the dance floor. Not to worry though because thanks to Mr. Harriton, I can twerk like none other.
HB: Why are you the next Mr Harriton?
GK: I know why I’m the next Mr. Harriton. The other contestants know why I’m the next Mr. Harriton. If you want to know why I’m the next Mr. Harriton, you’ll have to come see for yourself on Friday the 27th. I promise you, after seeing the show, the reason will become quite clear.
