Q: How long have you been playing lacrosse, and what originally drew you to it?

A: I’ve been playing lacrosse since I was in 2nd grade and I knew that I loved it the first time I was told to just go out and hit somebody.

Q: Are there any professional or collegiate athletes that particularly inspire you and why?

A: In college, I don’t have a particular player that I look up to, but I do look at how some teams play and try to make my game like theirs.

Q: Knowing that you are going to play in college, do you feel any pressure to perform exceptionally well this season?

A: This is one of the most important seasons that I will have, and I hope to make the most of it. Every time I go out on the field, I want to do my best and show everybody what I’m capable of.

Q: Do you ever find it overwhelming managing both an intense school and sports schedule?

A: Sometimes I can get overwhelmed with my schoolwork and doing it after I get home late from a hard practice, but my parents do make sure I get it done.

Q: Do you have any advice that you would give to younger athletes?

A: One piece if advice that I would give is to play the sport you are because it’s what you love to do. Don’t just play because somebody is forcing you into it. It should be something that you really love to do.
