Your Fall Bucket List

The leaves are changing from green to red, temperatures are dropping, and Halloween is creeping closer and closer… Fall has officially arrived. Fall is my favorite season and I love everything about it. From football games, to bonfires, to-although I am ashamed to admit- Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Fall brings joy and Halloween candy! In order to ensure you have the best Fall yet, here is your Fall bucket list—complete only if you want to have the best Fall ever.

  1. Go to Linvilla Orchards

Only about 30 minutes away, Linvilla Orchards is a great and simple way to start your Fall. There are endless amounts of Autumn activities including apple and pumpkin picking, a corn maze, and even hay rides! Not to mention they have the best apple cider donuts I have ever tasted…

Linvilla is open from 8 am to 7 pm all week and their address is 137 W Knowlton Road, Media PA, 19063.

  1. Get into the pumpkin spirit

I’ve already committed to all things pumpkin earlier this week when I had my first pumpkin spice food of the season (pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls) and you should too! Try everything from pumpkin bread (which you can make yourself), pumpkin ice cream (which is amazing at Trader Joe’s), and even try a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. And of course pumpkin pie is a must have. Nothing else will get you in the mood for fall as quickly as pumpkin in your system!

  1. Go to an Eagles game

For the sports fanatics, or anyone just trying to learn how football works (a.k.a. me), try going to an Eagles game! Not only will you be supporting our Eagles, but you can grab some friends and have a great time cheering! Eagles games are every Sunday, so finish your homework early (or procrastinate until Sunday night) and have a great rest of the weekend.

  1. Get cozy

Whatever cozy means to you, do it! My favorite thing to do is light a cinnamon candle, get into my favorite pair of sweatpants, curl up in warm blankets with a cup of tea, and read a great book. Try having a bonfire, crowding around with friends and making s’mores, or watching your favorite movie!

  1. Go to the Eastern State Penitentiary

For those of you more into the horror aspect of Fall, don’t miss Terror Behind the Walls at the Eastern State Penitentiary (ESP)! Tickets are only about $30 and you get into six terrifying attractions in the Penitentiary. If you love horror movies, you’ll love the ESP even more…Though I suggest going with a friend, or twenty, just so you always have someone to hide behind!!

You can purchase your tickets online if you look up Terror Behind the Walls.

  1. Get ready for Halloween

If you love Halloween as much as I do, then as soon as the calendar hits October, you are already prepping for the best night of the year. Decorate your room with pumpkins and look up a DIY costume! Plan your Halloween night whether you are hitting the streets, or hitting the couch with movies and candy. Also don’t forget about ABC Family’s Thirteen Nights of Halloween Marathon!! Starting on October 19 with Harry Potter, ABC Family plays the best Halloween movies every day; you can look up the schedule online and pick your favorites. And although many of us won’t admit it, we can’t let Fall pass without checking Disney for the Halloween Town premiere.

Fall only comes once a year so it’s up to you to make sure you do whatever you can to make it fabulous. Follow this bucket list and prepare for the best fall ever!
