Monthly Stock Update

This months stocks have not been good. September is usually the worst month for stocks during the course of the year because there is more trade during the summer than fall months. On average the Dow Jones Industrial goes down 1.1%, and the NASDAQ drops 1% during September. One contributing factor that made the stocks go down for this month is Greece’s economic trouble. Many investors fear that Greece’s economic troubles could cause a domino effect in the world. As
the countries of the world make trade easier between one another, their economy’s
become slightly intertwined. This is both a good and bad thing. The good is that
trade is made easier between countries. The bad is that if one country has an
economic down turn, many countries could be affected. Let’s hope next months
stocks go up for our investors.
