On Saturday, September 21, from 11 AM to 5 PM, the Manayunk StrEAT Festival was an excellent way to experience flavors from all around the world without having to leave Philadelphia’s backyard. The atmosphere was vivid and vibrant. As lighthearted music played, a diverse group of people of all ages ambled around Manayunk’s Main Street, trying different foods from numerous food trucks lined up on both sides of the busy street. The many varieties of food included Korean, Latin, Italian, and barbecue. For dessert, there were countless frozen yogurt and cupcake carts. Popular food trucks included Mac Mart Cart, which had a line down the block for its mac ‘n’ cheese, and Momma’s Meatballs, which was serving mouth-watering meatballs.  The wide assortment of food was enough to satisfy even the pickiest of palates. A combination of beautiful weather, delicious aromas, and wonderful tastes made the StrEAT Festival the place to be that Saturday. The event was not only family-friendly, but also a great place to socialize with friends. The Manayunk StrEAT Festival was a great experience and is highly recommended for any food lover!
