After racing off to their fastest start in years, the boys’ soccer team kept their momentum going by pitching their seventh shutout of the season (courtesy of Dan Posner in goal and Cary Carabasi and Zach Geanotes, among others, on defense) and beating the Fords 1-0 in overtime. In a game billed as the clincher for a Rams playoff berth, sophomore Kevin Lawson scored the winning goal five minutes into overtime as the Rams improved to 8-5-1 (4-5-1 in the Central League) and set their sights on postseason play, along with key home matches against Upper Darby and Lower Moreland in the upcoming week.
