The Harriton girls’ tennis team won an impressive tenth straight district title, defeating Lower Moreland 4-1. Key matches were won by Jen Shulkin and Hannah Drayton in singles, and the teams of Taylor Spencer/Megan Woolbert and Laura Walzer/Renee Sims. The latter two wins extended the Rams’ winning streak in postseason doubles play to 80.
The girls will play their first match in attempt to defend their state title (for the sixth time) against the second seed from District Three on October 26th.
