Norris, Cross Country Team Open Strong

Last seen making a strong run at the Harriton school record in the mile, junior Max Norris started off the cross country season with a bang, finishing second at the Viking Invitational with a personal best time of 15:31. Norris was one of many Harriton runners who received an award, as senior Ally McLaughlin finished 18th in the girls’ varsity race, junior Anthony Vallejo’s first career 5k was good for 25th in the boys’ JV race, and freshmen girls Taylor Brusilow, Laney O’Shea and Ana Walker helped the Rams notch a third place team finish in the novice race.

With the league season rapidly approaching, Norris and McLaughlin will lead their respective varsity teams against rival Lower Merion on September 14th.
