After slow starts for both teams, the Harriton boys and girls soccer team rebounded in a huge way, combining for a 4-0-1 record over the course of last week.

The boys team led the way with three victories, including a 7-0 nonleague trouncing of Chichester. The win put the Rams at 3-3 (2-1) on the year, riding a winning streak where they have outscored opponents 10-1. This team appears to be far removed from their mediocre start and with another week of the same caliber could be looking down at the rest of the Central League.

The girls team was not quite as dominant, but had an impressive week highlighted by a 2-1 victory over Springfield. The girls record currently stands at 1-1-2 (1-1-1). The Lady Rams will have a chance to prove themselves right off the bat when they face Marple Newtown on Tuesday.

If the two squads can keep up the stellar play, this could be a banner year for Harriton soccer.
