It was such a dominant week for Rams sports that it was touch to pick out the top performers, but these athletes still found ways to stand out:
Pat Moriarty, Junior, Football: Pat has stepped up and become not only a stellar quarterback but a key leader for the Rams football team. Better decision making in the team’s pass-happy offense has led the squad to a 2-1 start, their best in years.
Kevin Lawson, Junior, Soccer: The boys soccer team looked to be in trouble after an 0-3 start, but rebounded to win three straight. Kevin is a big reason why– he scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Springfield and had a goal and three assists in a 7-0 blowout of Chichester.
Eva Lopez, Senior, Field Hockey: Eva has provided impressive play in goal for the Rams, who could find themselves on top of the Central League with a few more wins. With twenty three saves in her last three games, she has been a steady backbone for the team in more than a few wild games.
Congratulations once again to these (and all) Rams athletes.
