XC Stampede at Bulldog Invitational

In one of the best performances the team has had in years, the Harriton boys cross country team dominated the competition at the Bulldog Invitational on Saturday. Not only did they beat their nearest competitor by almost forty points, but every member of the varsity team received a medal.

Max Norris, who has won nearly every meet in which he has competed this year, once again finished first with a time of 16:07. Peter Downs finished third by less than a second, while Jack Curtis, Cameron Trainer, Dimitri Coukos and Ryan Smith rounded out the pack at 13th, 17th, 19th, and 22nd, respectively.

There were even more fireworks in the other races. Anthony Vallejo finished sixth in the JV race, and Sam Payne and Michael Walsh earned top five finishes in the novice race. The girls team had a strong performance as well, finishing third with the help of Jane Henderson, Sam Lincoln, Maddie Pisani and Karen Irvine, all of whom earned a medal.
