Harriton Football Defeats Radnor in Defensive Battle

On Friday night at Harriton Stadium, in front of a huge crowd mostly decked in black, the Rams advanced to 2-1 on the season by hanging tough in a 21-20 victory over Radnor. The game started off with a bang, as Harriton running back/kick returner Andre Pendleton took back a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 7-7 after Radnor scored on their opening drive.

After that, the defense stepped up and delivered an impressive performance that kept the Rams in the game despite two interceptions by senior quarterback Pat Moriarty. Thanks to a clutch defensive stop late in the fourth quarter, and 282 yards rushing, Harriton hung on to the victory.

Eric Korn and Andre Pendleton each rushed for over 100 yards and Kenny Brown played a great game on both sides of the ball for the Rams. The Herd was a force to be reckoned with, as students from all grades filled the bleachers all the way to the top to cheer on their Rams and show their school spirit. Keep up the good work!
