The boys’ ice hockey team fought hard in their season opener against Lower Merion, but ultimately fell to their bitter rival. Many people played very well, including freshman Nick Wert, who scored Harriton’s only goal of the game. Harriton proved to Lower Merion that they can hit and the game was one-sided physically, but unfortunately it went the other way on the scoreboard. Still, these two teams will collide at least once more this season, and hopefully there will be a different result.
