Boys Basketball Season Recap

The Varsity basketball team concluded its season with a 12-12 record, staying within .500. The season ended at Penncrest, in a tough 51-44 loss.

Though the team could not make a significant run in the playoffs, it is looking up for the young team in 2018.

Though it will be losing notably talented seniors Esposto, Ransom, and Sanchez, rising seniors Nick Bugbee and Charlie Veasey will look to take a leadership role moving forward.

According to Maxpreps.com, the team finished with a ranking of 215 in the state of Pennsylvania. This significantly beats coach Rappaport’s ranking of 486 in Pennsylvania the previous year and record of 3-14.

Harriton basketball seems to be moving, somewhat, in an upward direction. The basketball program will look to get a winning percentage above .500 in 2018, and continue to build upon pre-existing athleticism on the team.
