The Harriton softball team, led by senior captains Sonia Groeneveld and Shannon Finegan, is looking forward to the coming season.

With both varsity coaches Beck and Kidd returning from last year, the team is looking to hold their own in the central league. Last year, the freshman-heavy team got their feet wet with key wins against LM and Strath Haven. This year, a more experienced sophomore-heavy team is looking to dive into league play and compete in more tight rival games.

Players to look out for include sophomore short stop Anna Walsh, sophomore catcher Julia Ermi, junior second baseman Anneke Vonk, sophomore pitcher Maddie Rubin, senior pitcher Sonia Groeneveld, and senior third baseman Shannon Finegan. The team from last year is joined by freshman Ava Paternoster. The first game is on Monday March 27 home against Strath Haven. Come out and support the Rams and enjoy some quality softball.
