When I first entered middle school, I remember feeling lost. I didn’t speak to anyone because I figured that no one really cared about anything that I had to say. I had crippling social anxiety. When I went into Mr. Marrone’s class, he showed me that he cared, and helped me feel like I wouldn’t be judged for speaking what was on my mind. Mr. Marrone helped me come out of my shell and taught me that it was okay to just be myself when I truly needed it most.
