Seasonal: Cake In A Cup

Seasonal: Cake In A Cup

As the temperature continues to drop, the days get shorter, and the holidays get closer, my sweet tooth grows. I love to bake, especially when I’m stressed, but I don’t have a lot of time to incorporate baking into doing homework and hanging out with friends. Recently, I’ve hopped on the cake in a cup train and I love it! This week I am making cake in a cup: a one serving (or a nice way to say I’m not sharing), delicious cake that only takes 5 minutes to bake. Hot chocolate cake is perfect for curling up on the couch and watching your favorite movies during the holiday season!

I know a bunch of recipes for cake in a cup, and they take barely time at all (thank you Pinterest). You can look up any type of recipe from coffee cake to chocolate peanut butter, but hot chocolate cake is the perfect holiday treat. You can make this quick and easy dessert any time because it only takes five minutes, and it is super delicious! Not to mention there is minimal clean up because you make everything in one mug and every recipe you find only makes one serving. Enjoy!

Directions:

  1. Pour all ingredients into a microwave safe mug and stir with a whisk or a fork until all of the ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
