Top 5 Marvelous Marvel Superhero Movies

Top 5 Marvelous Marvel Superhero Movies

Recently, I have been following the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I have seen all of the movies and decided to share a list of my Top 5 Marvelous Marvel Movies.

5. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON: Avengers: Age of Ultron is a very good movie with a very interesting villain. Ultron is a great character and a great villain and is a very famous supervillain in the comics. The movie made 1.405 billion dollars globally.

Ultron is an Artificial Intelligence Peacekeeping Program Created by Tony Stark from the decrypted code derived from the Mind Stone encased within Loki’s own Scepter, retooled by himself with the help of Bruce Banner with the intent being to protect Earth from any and all domestic and extraterrestrial threats coming within the future (Thanos).

Possessing multiple host bodies under his control as well as a variant of Stark’s own personality, Ultron soon deems humanity itself as the greatest threat to peace on the Earth and attempts to create his technological singularity by committing genocide against them, leaving only his own doubles left in his wake.

The movie introduces Vision (Paul Bettany) and Pietro (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) Maximoff.  When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jump-starts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble.

As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron, a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction. This movie makes it to my top 5 because of the cool battle scenes that take place.

I also think that Ultron is probably my favorite super villain and the best Marvel villain in the Cinematic Universe because of his sense of humor, his power and his intelligence, which lead him to take over the planet, all in one night.

4. AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR: Avengers: Infinity War grossed $2,048,359,754 worldwide. The film set records for the highest-grossing opening weekend and was the fastest to gross $1 billion through $1.5 billion, and achieved the highest gross in the 4DX format.

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality.

The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

The movie is really about Thanos. It is called Avengers because the Avengers avenge and do not revenge so this movie is Thanos’s time to shine. It also shows our favorite heroes coming together to fight Thanos.

There are many sad scenes in the movie and ends in a sad way rather than a happy way. This movie makes it to my top 5 because it is funny and it has the most stars and superheroes in one movie.

Also Thanos is an extremely complex character because his motives are to kill half of the universe but his ideas of saving the resources that the universe has makes him seem sane because he wants to help save the universe. He wants to do good but the only way he can complete his goal is by killing half of the universe.

3. DEADPOOL 2: Deadpool 2 grossed over $785 million worldwide, becoming the ninth-highest-grossing film of 2018, the highest-grossing R-rated film, and the highest-grossing X-Men film of all time.

Wisecracking mercenary Deadpool meets Russell, an angry teenage mutant who lives at an orphanage. When Russell becomes the target of Cable — a genetically enhanced soldier from the future — Deadpool realizes that he’ll need some help saving the boy from such a superior enemy.

He soon joins forces with Bedlam, Shatterstar, Domino and other powerful mutants to protect young Russell from Cable and his advanced weaponry.

The reason that I chose this movie for one of my top 3 is because there were so many funny pop culture references and there were many funny scenes and funny characters. It is the funniest movie in Marvel history and X-Men history, plus Ryan Reynolds fits Deadpool’s character perfectly.

2. AVENGERS: ENDGAME: Making 2.797 billion dollars, Avengers: Endgame beat Avatar and became the biggest movie of all time. It is clear that the movie was a big hit to everyone, including me. That is why Avengers: Endgame is one of my top 3.

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos’ actions and restore balance to the universe.

The movie has so much interesting drama. It has so many sad and exciting moments. There were many characters we wanted to see come back and characters we do not want to let go.

But there are many beautiful and much-anticipated scenes. When Tony Stark meets his father, or when Steve Rogers sees his dead girlfriend from WWII, or when Thor finally gets his Mjolnir back, the audience cannot help being moved.

When Captain America Wields Mjolnir or when all the superheroes come back from the dead and portal right into the battle when all hope is lost of the Avengers saving the world.) The movie also marks the end of the Infinity saga.

1. CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR: For my favorite, I must choose Captain America: Civil War. There is so much emotion and so many exciting action scenes in the film. It includes Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) who are two big characters for the franchise and both have big movies surrounding heir characters.

Political pressure to install a system of accountability mounts when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference.

Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.

The action in the movie is very interesting and I love how my favorite characters go off at each other in battle. Captain America vs. Iron man, the two most favored and anticipated characters in the franchise fighting. The movie also introduces the next main characters of the franchise. While they don’t appear a lot within the movie, their scenes are funny and very exciting.

Villains and heroes are both very intelligent and yet destructive just like us when we take our tests in math. The struggle is real, and is shown through each one of our own high school careers and now on the big screen.

Marvel’s characters are complex and yet relatable. Each have their powers and strengths but also have insecurities and failures. When Tony Stark creates Ultron or when the Avengers fight for their civil rights as Avengers, these heroes can create havoc. But when they come together, they can fight a higher power.

This is all relatable to the average high schooler because it gives us hope that even though we got a B– on our project or a 59% on a math test, we can still redeem ourselves and make the world a better place.
