Does ‘Harrington’ finally have Spirit?

A full Herd traveled all the way to Radnor!

A full Herd traveled all the way to Radnor!

As 2013 ends and we usher in the New Year, the Banner would like to take a moment to recognize the many amazing accomplishments of Harriton’s different clubs and teams. Harriton is in a perpetual cycle of improvement and achievement. Every year we grow, our teams improve, our clubs are ranked higher, records are broken, games are won, Science Olympiad wins yet another title and with that the students of Harriton become more spirited. The strong spirit of Harriton fuels the fire of its successes. Harriton has cast away its futile ties with the title “Harrington” and adopted titles of spirit and pride. Our growing school is newly decorated with accomplishments. Walking down our hallways we are all inspired by the legacies of the Rams that came before us and the Rams that lead us today. The athletes of the month, the ongoing art show that is our lobby, and the jerseys covering the cafeteria are all markings of our spirit. Every display case is filled to the brim with accomplishments and every student with pride. To get a better idea of the true Harriton spirit, I took to the hallways of Harriton and interviewed some spirited Ram fans.

When you see people donating to the plethora of charity events that we have, that’s Harriton. Whenever you have a really nice conversation with the lady at the lunch line, that’s Harriton. When you cheer alongside your friends at the Quidditch game, that’s Harriton. When you laugh aloud at Mr. Harriton, That’s Harriton.
