October 15: Boys’ Soccer Beats Springfield in Huge Central League Showdown

Going from fighting to be in the playoffs at all to trying to win the luxury of home field advantage, the men’s soccer team has come a long way this season. However, they could not allow the Springfield team, with Central League MVP runner-up Nick Janelli, to stop their progress. Fortunately Harriton has the small but talented Justin Nachman on their side. Nachman shut down the league MVP as the Rams came away with a 1-0 win. Freshman Alex Kades scored the lone goal. The Rams pulled away with another shutout, made possible by a fearsome foursome of defenders; Aaron Dickman, Anthony Calligaro, William Marks, and goalie Lukas Serlin. The Rams look to continue their momentum heading into playoffs.
