Harriton Swimming: Central League Championship

On February 17, the HHS swim team participated in the Central League Championships at Radnor High School. Several members of the team had impressive swims.

Winning the Central League title in the 100 meter Butterfly was Christo Snyder, whose first place finish will be followed up by his competing at the PIAA District 1 Championship meet.

Nick Anstadt finished second in the 50 meter Freestyle and third in the 100 Freestyle, which also qualifies him for the PIAA District 1 Championship meet.

Francis Chalissery, Sam Eaddy, Christo Snyder and Nick Anstadt teamed up to finish third in the 200 meter Medley Relay. This relay team also qualifies for the PIAA District 1 Championship meet.

Nick Anstadt, Jake McClain, Anthony Borgese, and Christo Snyder finished a respectable seventh place in the 200 meter Freestyle relay.

Not to be outdone, the girls also performed at the same high standards, reaching the podium for the first time in five years.

Natalie Agostini finished fifth in the 100 meter Breaststroke, while also achieving a qualifying time for the PIAA District 1 Championships in this event.

Tori Meiler, Natalie Agostini, Ellie Greenhalgh and Tatum Maloney finished eighth in the 200 meter Medley Relay.

Devin McClain, Ellie Greenhalgh, Mandy Becker, and Tatum Maloney finished seventh in 200 meter Freestyle Relay.

The months of hard work have paid of in championship titles and many of the swimmers will be advancing beyond the league championship.
