The highly anticipated release of Mean Girls on January 12, 2024, promises to be a treat for fans of the iconic teen comedy. Directors Arturo Perez Jr. and Samantha Jayne bring their vision to life with help of Composer Jeff Richmond, known for his work on “30 Rock” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”

 

The upcoming Mean Girls includes Australian actress Angourie Rice leading as Cady Heron, recognized for her role as Betty Brant in Spider-Man. Auli’i Cravalho, famed for Disney’s Moana, and Tony and Grammy-nominated Broadway actor Jaquel Spivey will take on the roles of Janis and Damian, respectively. Reneé Rapp will be reprising her Broadway role as the oh-so-iconic Regina George. Avantika Vandanapu will join her as Karen and Love, Victor’s Bebe Wood as Gretchen.

 

Christopher Briney from The Summer I Turned Pretty will play Aaron Samuels, while Mahi Alam will bring a fresh take to the character of Kevin G. Ashley Park, an original Broadway cast member known for her role in Emily in Paris, will also be part of the movie, playing a new character named Madame Park. The ensemble promises a dynamic and diverse cast for the Mean Girls musical adaptation.
